Year 12 students visit Blackpool Magistrates Court

On Tuesday 14th January, myself and a group of year 12 students went on a visit to Blackpool Magistrate’s Court. We were sat down – and asked to stay quiet – in a box at the side of the court, with a clear view of everything that was going on. Slowly things fell into place, people got to where they needed to be, and the first of seven cases began. Helping others less fortunate

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the wider AKS community gave very generously to our Cash for Kids Mission appeal for toys . We had over 100 toys donated which then got delivered to the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas warehouse. On Monday  16th December ten AKS Action students visited the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas warehouse. They spent their day sorting items into present bundles.
