To coincide with the 2019 Round Square Conference in India, Emily from Year 13 reflects on the lasting impact that last year’s conference in Canada had on her. ‘Sarvodaya’, the RS conference and a challenge for our students

Sarvodaya is an Ancient Indian word (still used today) meaning progress for all. The word is a combination of two terms: ‘Sarva’ meaning one-and-all and ‘Uday’ meaning welfare – combined – the word signifies ‘Universal Uplift’ – Sarvodaya is the theme for the Round Square International Conference 2019 which will takes place at Emerald Heights in India at the end of this month.
